Personal Assistant to JMatt (Part-Time)
Part-Time: 10 hours/week (hybrid – remote with occasional on-site needs)
Compensation: $15/hour (+ adjusted pay structure for on-site support)
JMatt is an entrepreneur and founder of HashtagMKE, a social media coaching service, as well as a community that brings together content creators and social media marketers to network monthly. He’s also a mental health advocate and a Milwaukee-based lifestyle content creator (@JMattMke) with 180,000 followers on TikTok and over 16,000 followers on Instagram.
The ideal candidate would be someone who is a self-starter with strong communication skills, detail oriented, and able to manage their time efficiently. This person should also be able to thrive in a non-traditional work setting.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative (50%): respond and send follow up emails on JMatt’s behalf, handle requests and queries appropriately, calendar management, coordinate travel plans, organize speaking engagements, prepare briefs, attend client-facing meetings, proof-reading copy, and other administrative duties
- Research Support (40%): topic/content research, hashtag research, monitor social media best practices, research weekly local events, draft bio information for special guests at HashtagMKE events, provide outreach to local communities and media outlets
- On-Site Support (10%): assist with HashtagMKE networking event operations and day-of support as well as providing help during client content shoots
- Compensation available to cover mileage
The Personal Assistant position is an independent contractor role with a 6-month term that can be renewed. Training will be provided as needed.
